About Rich Hollow Farm

Rich Hollow Farm is a 228-acre conservation property located along the eastern edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Albemarle County, VA.  Much of our land is wooded but we've dedicated a portion of our open space to growing specialty cut flowers - especially dahlias.

We are passionate about environmental stewardship and use natural soil amendments such as bone meal and compost rather than synthetic fertilizers. And we control weeds and pests without herbicides or pesticides.

Rich Hollow Farm Flowers was launched in 2018. Our dahlias, peonies and zinnias can be found in wedding bouquets and other floral arrangements throughout central and northern Virginia.

We began offering tubers from our favorite dahlia varieties in the fall of 2021.
